Complaints and concerns

If you believe we have misrepresented a culture, mishandled funds, published something without consent, or made a claim we cannot support:

  1. Write to usEmail the general address with “Complaint” in the subject line. Please describe the concern and include the relevant page or information.
  2. Request an acknowledgementAsk who will be handling your concern and when you can expect a response.
  3. Agree the next stepsRequest a written response explaining the review and any action taken.
  4. EscalationIf your concern involves consent to an image or cultural material, clearly flag this in your message so removal can be considered promptly.

If you are not satisfied with our response, concerns about a registered charity can be raised with the ACNC.

Media and researchers

We will provide the source document behind any figure we have published, on request, and we are happy to be asked why a number is a dash. If you are writing about regenerative community, Landcare, Indigenous partnership or circular economy models, we will also tell you what has not worked.

We do not arrange interviews with community members or beneficiaries. If a community wishes to speak, it approaches you, on its own terms, and we stay out of it unless invited.
